Exactly for this types of choleric drivers, Psychodnis created a game: Destruction Derby, where you can go crazy and as the game name suggests, destruct your opponents cars. It could be a top game IMO if it were only, shall I say, more user friendly.Every once in a while, every driver knows the feeling when is frustrated behind the wheel and would rather smash everything around him.
This all being said, the graphics are fluid and everything I haven't mentioned above is pretty well spot on with this game. I'm better off repeatedly tapping the buttons than relying on a solid press. So many times I've had a great chance to take someone out or avoid an attack when suddenly I can't turn or my gas pedal won't work. Worst of all, I can not tell you just how many times my controls seem to become unresponsive for a moment. Even when they are stationary and I ram them full speed I often don't get the pay out of a "successful" hit many times. In fact, I feel as though I'm taking the damage most times and they don't. If that's not enough, it seems I don't get credit for my hits on a lot of occasions. The AI will always follow you as close as possible making any attack extremely difficult. Than the downfalls.When you are in the top two there is little way to win. This game is reminiscent of the demolition derby games for ps1, far more than anything yet.
